An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen

Covid-19 A Pastoral Response

Dear Parishioners

Click the link to the Pastoral Letter from Cardinal John Dew outlining a number of health and safety guidelines to limit the impact of the Coronavirus – these guidelines include NO public Masses and Liturgical gatherings in the Parish for the foreseeable future.

Along with a number of local Churches, Cardinal John has dispensed all people from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. Mass is still celebrated each day in our Parish of Our Lady of Kāpiti but will now be done so privately. My brother priests have assured me that they remember you all and your intentions during their celebrations of the Eucharist.

Naturally the opening of the Church on 5 April 2020 is under review and we will let you know as soon as we know Cardinal John’s intentions concerning this blessing and opening.

Let us continue and look after each other.

With every blessing in Christ
