OLOK Women’s Guild is a Waikanae based group, open to
all women in the parish, which has been in existence since last century!
We gather every month for a time of socialising and
catching up over morning tea, purchasing goods/crafts from the sales table,
celebrating birthdays, special events and being entertained or inspired by a
visiting speaker or choir.
Our aims include being present to all the women of our
parish, donating funds and goods to worthy causes, providing hospitality at
funerals and being connected to the women of Waikanae and beyond outside of
meeting at Mass. This has been
especially relevant since Our Lady of Fatima church was closed and at this time
when covid has brought restrictions to our gatherings and socialising.
